How to add or edit your arboretum's listing

The Morton Arboretum has added a number of arboreta from around the country and internationally to the Morton Register of Arboreta, and created accounts for these arboreta. You may have received an email from ArbNet.org containing your account information, including username and password (see Step 1A below).

Step 1

If you are a registered user, login with your username and password in the top
login box.

If you are not yet a registered user, create an account.


Step 2

If your arboretum is already listed in the Morton Register of Arboreta, click the “Edit listing” button from the top login box. You can also search for your arboretum in the Morton Register of Arboreta and click the blue “Edit” button that appears to the left of your arboretum’s name.

If your arboretum is not listed in the Morton Register of Arboreta, click the “Add New Listing” button in the top login box.


Step 3
Add or edit your arboretum details. You can also upload images.

Step 4
Click Submit.

The Morton Register of Arboreta is a comprehensive list and database of arboreta and other public gardens that have a substantial focus on woody plants. More. Accreditation for arboreta is also available. Sponsored and coordinated by The Morton Arboretum (www.mortonarb.org).

An arboretum is a specialized type of botanical garden that focuses on trees and other woody plants. More. A principal goal of arboreta is to encourage and support the planting and conservation of trees.
