Dunn School Arboretum

The Dunn School Arboretum’s role is to provide a learning laboratory for its students to sudy and implement resource efficient landcape design, bidoviersity, native species, and the value of nature. The campus arboretum is situated on the 55 acres of the Dunn School and includes a wooded trail that wraps around the school. The Arboretum hosts 25 species of trees. Dunn School also has undertaken a number of sustainability iniatives, including the implementation of an on-site wastewater treatmenent system, which sees that 80 percent of the school’s water is recycled. Additionally 100 percent of of the dining hall food is composted.
