Heritage Center Arboretum

The Heritage Center Arboretum in Anderson Township Ohio is a charming historic home with beautiful grounds that contain a wide variety of trees and shrubs. The home was built in the 1820’s and the Pin Oaks towering behind it are over a century old. The arboretum currently features 48 different species of labeled trees and shrubs and is open daily from dawn to dusk free for the public to enjoy. Most of the labeled trees are native to our area so visitors can learn to identify our local trees. The charming setting is also a popular rental venue for weddings and other special events. It a peaceful getaway spot and an inviting place for a stroll around the grounds or on the trail through the adjacent forested Anderson Township Greenspace. Our plan is for the arboretum to become an outdoor learning center for visitors of all ages.
