Description
The Kendal Crosslands Arboretum is located on the grounds of two adjacent Continuing Care Retirement Communities - Kendal at Longwood and Crosslands - in the heart of the beautiful Brandywine Valley in Chester County, Pennsylvania.
Our arboretum is located on the landscaped areas of our 500 acre campus. There are over 600 labeled trees; 108 trees representing 62 species are listed as arboretum trees. Those 62 species can be seen on four loop walks (two in each community) that are easily traversed by foot and are handicap accessible. Self-guided interpretive pamphlets are available for the loop walks. Tours with resident guides are also available by appointment.
