Kilmer Park and Arboretum
The property was purchased by the Town of Cheverly, Maryland in April of 2015 for the purpose of turning the former residential, single-home plot into a green space to be enjoyed by the community. After an extensive community survey, the plot was christened Kilmer Park and Arboretum in April of 2021, now designed as a place of quiet relaxation, education, and connection to the natural world. The grounds are freely open from dawn to dusk.
