Leach Botanical Gardens

Leach Botanical Garden has its origin as the home of botanist Lilla Leach and her husband John. In 1980, the property was donated to the City of Portland’s Parks and Recreation following their deaths. What started as a 5-acre garden has grown to a 17-acre gem in the southeast neighborhood of Portland, Oregon. Nestled in a douglas fir forest along beautiful Johnson Creek, visitors will experience collections focused on Pacific Northwest natives, riparian plants, a rock garden, a 4-season pollinator garden, an aerial tree walk and much more.
