The Memorial Park Arboretum is located in the heart of La Grange Park in Western Cook County, Illinois. This arboretum is managed by the Community Park District of La Grange Park and is open to the public 365 days a year from 5am-10pm.  The park includes walking paths and sidewalks that wind past a wide variety of tree species at various life stages including Oaks, Pines, Lindens and a beautiful pair of mature Black Walnut trees. 

The Community Park District currently has 26 species mapped and labeled with plaques, and they invite visitors to tour the tree collection or to simply enjoy the beauty of the park during recreation and leisure activities.  This arboretum is cared for by Community Park District as part of the district’s Urban Forestry Management Plan, which can be viewed on the park district website.
