The Betty Cary Arboretum of Germantown Friends School
The Arboretum is located in the Historic Germantown section of Philadelphia and sits on the 12-acre main campus of Germantown Friends School and the 12-acre athletic field complex. The Arboretum is home to many mature trees and shrubs, as well as young plantings resulting from new construction.
Germantown Friends School is dedicated to reaching that of God in every person. Our mission is to seek truth, challenge the intellect, honor differences, embrace the city, and nurture each student’s mind, body and spirit.
Lifelong education is valued highly at Germantown Friends School and the Arboretum will serve as a teaching guide for our community.
