Part exploration, part discovery and personally designed for every age, on these outdoor adventures, guests discover the many unique ecosystems of a barrier island.

With Level I Arboretum Accreditation, the Nature Excursion activities include on-property tree walks steps away from the front entrance along a tree-canopy walking path. Recently landscaped and with a new management plan, guests will discover a rich array of trees and woody species. Guests are able to arrange a private tour led by the resort’s on-site expert naturalist, utilize an iNaturalist online project map, or reference a QR code by scanning species signs along the walkway.
