The Williams House is one of the oldest and most historic homes in the town of Fernandina Beach. This iconic inn is included on the National Register of Historic Places as a Contributing Structure to the Fernandina Beach Historic District and has been named a Florida Heritage Landmark Site.
At the heart of the Williams House property towers an ancient southern live oak, among the largest and oldest on the island. Arboretum accreditation is a part of our objective to properly preserve and care for our heritage tree, and the surrounding gardens. Lushly planted with over 35 species of woody plants, our gardens provide a place of education, relaxation and beauty for all of our visitors.
