Found on the City of Charlotte Landscape Management campus, Tuckaseegee Arboretum and Gardens provides an aesthetically pleasing and inspiring experience for education, discovery, wellness, and a respite from the adjacent urban hardscape.
Home to a wide variety of native and adapted woody shrubs and trees, a pollinator garden, and several urban landscape demonstration gardens, the arboretum is open to the public and free of charge. From the beautiful spring blooms to the vibrant fall colors, the more than 25 species of trees and shrubs, plus 35 or more species of grasses and perennials in the gardens provide year-round interest for arboretums guests.
