Village of Forest Park

Forest Park is a community of 14,000 residents, just on the western border of the City of Chicago.  The community has over 3,000 trees that range in diversity, from different types of Maple trees, to Elms, Oaks, and a variety of ornamental trees.  Within the last 5 years, Forest Park has taken a strong approach to making sure they take care of their Arboretum every way it needs. There is a mixture of tree species that are requested by the residents and trees species picked by the Director of Public Works that diversifies the Arboretum.
