Village of Homewood Arboretum

The Village of Homewood is a vibrant suburban village located just 25 miles south of Chicago’s Loop. Established in 1893, the Village of Homewood has been committed to sustainable urban forestry. At 5.2 square miles, Homewood is full of rare trees such as Pecan, American Holly, and several Oak Hybrids. Homewood prides itself on providing significant parkway diversity with these trees, and has been recognized as Tree City, USA for more than 22 years along with earning the Urban Forestry Accreditation from the Society of Municipal Arborists
