The Wagner Family Arboretum at Oak Knoll Park includes a wide variety of both native and non-native species growing throughout the 14.5-acre Oak Knoll Park.  With over 900 trees and nearly 100 different species across the Oak Knoll campus, trees representing the arboretum can be found mainly along the approximate half-mile walking path that meanders through the park, passing historic mansions, a fountain pond framed by Bald Cypress trees, a nature trail, and other landscaped gardens and beds.

The trees selected to represent the arboretum showcase a wide range of physical traits that different species possess, unique contributions provided to our landscapes and local ecosystems, as well as historical interest to the park.  Most notable is the collection of 150-year old Post Oaks.  These remarkable native trees known for their rugged beauty and resilience have withstood the test of time, pre-dating settlement and urban sprawl in this area.
