ArbNet is pleased to announce the winners of the 2025 BGCI/ArbNet Partnership Programme! This funding opportunity supports the development of international collaborations between gardens and arboreta for the purpose of exchanging skills, resources and expertise to advance tree conservation. Jardin Botanico y Arboreto VerdeNativo (Chile) in partnership with Wakehurst, Kew Gardens (UK)
Project, titled “Threatened Trees Trail”: Targeting conservation of 7 of the most endangered trees of the Chilean Temperate Rainforest by enhancing visitor engagement and education through the design of a self-guided trail integrating interpretation panels, directional signage, and garden classroom equipment.
Montgomery Botanical Center in partnership with Belize Botanic Gardens (BBG) & Naples Botanical Garden (NBG)
Project titled "Towards a representative Pseudophoenix sargentii collection”
