The Arboretum at Linden Ponds

Description

The purpose of The Arboretum at Linden Ponds is to appreciate and help maintain the vision of a planned design of trees and shrubs. There are 108 acres some of which are conservation wetlands enhanced by native trees and challenged by difficult rock and soil conditions on our campus located in the historic town of Hingham Massachusetts. We are a large and expanding non-profit residential community (CCRC-3) of 1400 residents over 62, housing a nursing home, an assisted care facility and two neighborhoods.  Our mission is to educate members and guests on the features and value of these horticultural specimens. In our collection are the following trees: Katsura, Weeping European Beech and Tulip Tree.
