Mahr Park Arboretum

Mahr Park Arboretum is a unique 265 acre legacy park gifted to the City of Madisonville in 2009 upon the passing of benefactor Glema Mahr. The focus of the Mahr Park Arboretum will be on providing educational opportunities for all ages to experience the importance of conservation and preservation of natural ecosystems. The park offers a wide variety of stately and mature trees, with plans to plant multiple additional collections mostly focused on native species. Mahr Park features rolling hills, seven ponds, mature, stately trees and an extensive shoreline on Lake Pee Wee.
